Wisepops Slack integration: get notified on every lead
Read summarized version with
Every time a visitor submits a form on your site, that lead sits in Wisepops until someone logs in to check it. The Slack integration changes that: your team gets notified the moment a submission comes in, in the channel where they already work.
You can now connect any campaign to a Slack channel and receive a real-time notification for every sign-up form, phone field, or survey response it collects. No dashboards to monitor. No tab-switching.
What the integration does
When a visitor fills out a form on one of your campaigns, Wisepops sends the collected data straight to your chosen Slack channel. The notification includes everything the form captured: name, email address, phone number, survey answers.
This is useful for anyone who needs to act on a lead quickly. A sales team can follow up with a high-intent request within minutes of it coming in. A support team monitoring a contact form can respond before the visitor has moved on. A marketing team running a survey can watch responses accumulate in real time, without opening Wisepops at all.
The integration is enabled per campaign from the Sync tab inside the campaign editor. Open the form block you want to connect, click Add integration, select Slack, authorize your workspace, and choose a channel. Save and publish — the next submission will appear in Slack immediately.
One thing to know
Each campaign currently supports one active integration at a time. If a campaign is already sending leads to an ESP — Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo — you'll need to choose between that and Slack for now.
Dual integrations are coming soon, so you'll be able to route submissions to both your ESP and a Slack channel from the same campaign.
A few tips for keeping it organized
A dedicated channel like #wisepops-leads keeps form submissions from getting buried in busier team channels. For teams running several campaigns, separate channels by type — one for sales inquiries, one for support requests, one for survey responses — so notifications reach the right people without noise.
If you want notifications in a private channel, invite the Wisepops app to that channel before going through the setup. The channel won't appear as an option during configuration unless the app is already a member.
After connecting, submit the form once yourself to confirm the notification arrives as expected before the campaign goes live.
Frequently asked questions
Which form types trigger Slack notifications?
Sign-up forms, phone fields, and survey blocks all trigger a notification on submission. The message includes every field the form collected. Announcement campaigns or popups without a form block don't generate notifications.
Does the integration work with private Slack channels?
Yes. Invite the Wisepops app to the private channel before setting up the integration, and it will appear as an option in the channel selector during configuration.
Notifications aren't arriving — what should I check?
Confirm the campaign is published and active, and that the Slack integration is saved on the form block (not just added). For private channels, verify the Wisepops app has been invited. If another integration is already active on the same campaign, the Slack integration won't fire until dual integrations are enabled.
